Delhi Medical Council renewal
- How long registration lasts
- A registration certificate “shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of registration”.
- If you have let it lapse
- The council publishes a late-fee scale rather than refusing — see the fees below. Lapsed is not the same as struck off.
The council's own fee page says “The above fee structure may be revised from time to time.” We re-read it before quoting you, and the amount you pay the council is whatever the council is charging on the day — not whatever a website said.

Certificate of Good Standing
The certificate a foreign authority asks for when it verifies that you are registered and in good standing here. This is the most common reason doctors contact us from abroad.

No Objection Certificate
The NOC runs through the same portal flow as Good Standing — signup, email verification, login, the NOC option, details, payment, uploads, acknowledgement.

Restoration, additional qualification and the upload rules
- Restoration
- “The Executive Committee of the Council may consider case of restoration of a person whose name had been struck off the register … on payment of the prescribed fees.” It is a decision of the committee, not an automatic entitlement.
- Additional qualification
- ₹2,000 per qualification, and only NMC-recognised postgraduate qualifications are entered.
- Uploads
- jpg, jpeg or pdf, maximum 1000 KB per file.
- A late fee that surprises people
- ₹5,000 by demand draft where your internship completion or screening-test date is more than one year before you apply.
The council's instructions state that the fee is non-refundable once paid. That is the council's rule and it applies whether or not your application succeeds, which is one more reason to get the documents right before submitting rather than after.

Foreign medical graduates in Delhi
The Delhi Medical Council's most recent notice on FMG internship that we have verified is dated 28 April 2026. It is seasonal — check the council's site for a newer one, and we will too before quoting you.
- Open to FMGs who are “RESIDENT OF DELHI HOLDING THE PASSPORT AND AADHAR CARD HAVING THE DELHI ADDRESS ONLY”
- Seats are allotted on a pro-rata basis
- The applicant “has to come physically” for document verification
- Merit is decided by NBE screening-test score
- Provisional registration is applied for online within 10 days of the merit list
You attend the document verification in person. MPDS India cannot attend it for you, and the notice is explicit about it. If an agent tells you they can, that alone tells you what they are.

What we do
- Work out which service and which council your case actually needs
- Give you a document checklist built for your case, not a generic list
- Prepare and check your application before anything is submitted
- File on the official portal using your own login, with your approval of everything first
- Follow up where we can, and tell you what has changed on WhatsApp
What we never do
- Create, alter, arrange or sign any document or certificate — including employment certificates
- Guarantee approval, a timeline, or what a council will decide
- Attend in-person, biometric, signature or original-document verification in your place
- Contact a council pretending to be you, or present ourselves as a government office
If anyone offers you these things for a fee, that is worth walking away from — whoever they are.
Important: Government authorities may ask applicants to personally appear for verification, original document verification, biometric verification, signature verification or additional requirements at any stage. MPDS India cannot replace the applicant where personal appearance is mandatory.
